I see it has been 12 days since I last posted.
Oh well! No one is reading them anyway.
They have been 12 days of sinus infection/bad tooth pain and SUFFERRING and they ain't over yet. The calf crop is growing nicely and is now up to 16. Fields are starting to dry out but, they are calling for rain today and tomorrow.
I guess I am taking my wife and mother-in-law out for dinner. Later

#2 with a whimper
The MoN is now richer by three new calves. I only managed to catch and tag two of them. I will have to get the other one into the corral soon and get it tagged. Muddy roads and high water kept me from checking on the herd on the back 40 so I may have more. I'm about half done with calving. Not too bad a year; I've only lost 3 calves and one cow so far.
it's a start
Being totally new to this I will ramble a little at the start. It's a dreary dak morning in the Middle of Nowhere and my mood for the day will probably be Bad. Rainy days and Mondays type of thinking. I will survive. It's just not going to be pretty
